A PSA system for biogas upgrading (Methagen AD) typically consumes 0.19 kWh/Nm³ of biogas, whereas a PSA system for landfill gas upgrading (Methagen LF) requires 0.30 kWh/Nm³.
The difference in power consumption is primarily due to the system design: Methagen AD operates as a single-stage unit, while Methagen LF utilizes a double-stage configuration.
