With the remote nature of biogas and RNG facilities and the security risks inherent with producing biogas, how are you ensuring your equipment is cyber secure?

@pyroltech_farshid thanx for the question, any thoughts here or any resources you recently saw that can add to the discussion?

@DMT had a great article on this topic in last year’s Biogas Community Magazine on Safety! Their upgrading technology aims to preserve operational integrity and mitigate potential threats from a cybersecurity perspective.

    Anything to add @Nikolas_Pat ?

Although someone hacking your biogas upgrading plant might sound like a scenario out of a movie, it is now reality that cyber attacks can happen to any system using an internet connection. DMT has hired professional computer engineers with experience in cyber security to ensure our remote controlled systems are protected against malicious hacking attempts.

The article Ryan mentions is worth reading, and our team would be happy to discuss with anyone concerned about their upgrading system’s safety. Feel free to connect with me and send a PM.

Ivys Adsorption recognizes that cyber-attacks on the biogas plant and upgrading system are a factual risk. That is why we engaged whit cyber security experts to put in place and maintain a cyber security management system dedicated to the safe and secure operation of our products.

It protects the equipment against intrusion and insures a complete data recovery and system restoration in the event of a data compromise or other event such as natural disaster.

Our cyber-security framework is also revised on a regular basis to always comply with the latest technology and standards.”
