Green Gas Service GmbH, in cooperation with the Compost and Biogas Association of Austria, as well
as the Upper Austrian Chamber of Commerce, is organizing the 3-day Green Gas Congress at the
Messe Wels from December 2nd to 4th, 2025.
This year, we are again expecting all well-known specialist exhibitors from the fields of biogas, wood
gas and hydrogen and over 400 visitors.
The following main topics will be presented by top-class speakers:

The congress has now become a fixture in the biogas and renewable energy industry and has been
held since 2006, mainly in the federal states of Lower Austria, Upper Austria and Styria. The main
focus is on the biogas sector. Following the overwhelming success of last year, we are maintaining
the change from a biogas to a green gas congress and expanding our topic areas to include wood gas
and hydrogen.
We are living in the most turbulent energy decade in a long time and it is therefore important that
the biogas industry sets a strong example. As the challenges continue to grow, interest in renewable
energy technologies is also increasing enormously.
