Job Description

As a Biogas Service Technician, you are responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of our biogas installation in Waalwijk.

Responsibilities

• You keep a close eye on the process, intervene when necessary and ensure that everything continues to run smoothly.
• You perform preventive and corrective maintenance to prevent malfunctions and guarantee the reliability of the installation.
• When technical malfunctions occur, you analyze them and solve them quickly and effectively.
• You think about possible improvements in our technology and processes and contribute solutions to increase efficiency.
• Installing and replacing parts is also part of your daily work.
• You plan and coordinate maintenance work with external subcontractors during maintenance stops.
• You work in changing shifts and are available for breakdown services, so our installation always functions optimally. 

Job Qualifications

We are looking for a Service Operator who excels in technical skills and a practical approach. You bring:

• Education: Technical wastewater treatment training or technical installations, gas and/or systems training;
• Technical insight: You have strong problem-solving skills and understand the operation of complex installations;
• Process knowledge: Monitoring and improving processes is second nature to you;
• Communication skills: You can communicate clearly and work well in a team;
• Independence: You take initiative, take responsibility and always maintain an overview;
• Attention to detail: You work accurately and have a clear view of possible improvements;
• Flexibility: Working in shifts and performing on-call duties suit your work ethic.
