Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment at the Platte River Biogas facility. This role ensures the reliability and efficiency of mechanical and electrical systems while adhering to safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and process control systems.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment, including compressors, pumps, valves, and gas processing units.
  • Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Support plant facility operations by ensuring all systems function efficiently.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance equipment reliability and performance
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; (technical certification preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance in RNG, oil & gas, or the energy industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and repairing machinery and equipment.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic and repair tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong understanding of RNG production processes and equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in an industrial setting.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to be on call and respond after-hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
  • Must be willing to work onsite.
