The Function

At HoSt Groep, you’ll work on the entire process of innovative biogas plants – from design and engineering to implementation and commissioning. With over 300 colleagues worldwide, we’re committed to realizing sustainable energy solutions every day, and we’re currently looking to strengthen our Project Engineering team in Enschede.

Your role as Project Engineer

As a Project Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the technical and financial progress of our biogas projects, from the initial engineering phase to final commissioning. You’ll play a key role in the project team and collaborate closely with colleagues from various departments, from Project Management and Sales to Software, Service, and Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Prepare projects in collaboration with the project team;
• Design of biogas installations;
• Preparing projects and compiling material lists;
• Analyzing risks and monitoring the consistency of the installation’s operation;
• Maintaining supplier contacts and participating in project meetings;
• Supervising the installation on-site during commissioning.

Job Qualifications

• A completed higher professional education in a technical field (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Chemical or Process Technology);
• Affinity with the agricultural sector and with technology in general;
• Good knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
• Excellent command of Dutch and English.
