This Position reports to:

Local Division Manager

Responsibilities

Your Role: Own the Challenge

  • Drive profitable revenue growth and increase ABB Motion’s market share in target industry segments and accounts.
  • Define and implement segment strategies through detailed playbooks, setting clear targets and approaches.
  • Build strategic partnerships and relationships with key customers and influencers to capture new business.
  • Collaborate with regional distribution and OEM sales teams to achieve sales mix targets for Motion Canada.
  • Identify and prioritize major accounts, ensuring account plans and growth actions are in place and executed.
  • Monitor performance, anticipate gaps, and take proactive actions to meet targets.
  • Apply standardized sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, account plans) and provide market intelligence to divisions.
  • Strengthen ABB’s visibility through marketing efforts, lead contract negotiations, manage risks, and develop high-performing teams.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years in direct sales or sales management, with a strong background in business development, account management, and cross-selling.
  • Proven ability to drive sales excellence, foster collaboration, and lead with a coaching mindset to structure and guide teams effectively.
  • Solid understanding of contract negotiations, risk management, and commercial/legal terms, with a professional, customer-focused approach. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, high integrity, and the ability to build long-term C-level relationships and influence within the industry.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce (SFDC), with the ability to travel up to 40% across Canada.
  •  French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
