Description
The year 2022 shows that the biogas and biomethane industry can take an active part in providing renewable solutions for the energy challenges we now face. Just in Europe, the recent REPowerEU plan targets increasing more than tenfold biomethane production by 2030. In North America, there is a potential to increase production as well: more than 2200 sites are ready to be developed in the USA; Canada estimates that it can increase its production from 22 to 260 PJ. In brief, the biogas and biomethane industry shows no slowdown.
