Biogas Technology

HoSt has a full in-house technology portfolio, and each successful biogas project starts with our biogas plant configurator. This tool provides comprehensive mass and energy balances tailored to each projects unique needs. The calculator performs calculations for biogas plant projects while taking the Carbon Intensity score (CI-score) into account. 

Ensuring increased profitability of the project, the biogas calculator provides professional advice on feedstock configuration and offtake services. Resulting in an efficient biogas plant with the best Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for the project, the lowest CO2 footprint and the highest possible revenue.

Research and Development

At our full-scale research facility and laboratory in the Netherlands, we test new renewable gas technologies before launching them and optimizing existing ones.

Additionally, our laboratory at our head office helps with key analyses and laboratory-scaled studies. Running our own biogas facilities lets us fine-tune our technologies based on real-world data before we market these efficient technologies worldwide.
