High-Quality Solutions that Provide Real Added Value to Their Customers

Ivys Adsorption provides solutions for RNG, hydrogen, carbon capture and industrial compressed air.  Two production sites in Blainville, Quebec total 75000 square feet and have hundred employees dedicated to the design, manufacturing, sales and services of gas purification equipment.

Products that meet Canadian, North American and European standards

All products manufactured by Ivys Adsorption meet European and North American standards, including ASME section VIII, B31.3, PED. Additionally, the company is ISO 9001 certified.

During the site visit, Gilles Arsenault, Director of Operations explained that the production workshop is divided into several work cells that include the material preparation, welding assembly, hydrostatic testing, non-destructive testing, sandblasting and painting, valve assembly and sub-assemblies for the Biostream units.

Biostream: A Well-Developed and Mature Biogas Recovery Unit

Biostream is the biogas upgrading unit created to respond to the RNG industry’s needs. Christian Iuhas, VP Innovation , explained that Biostream is a highly modularized and containerized solution with a very small footprint in respect to its nominal capacity.

Biostream allows an easy and fast installation, smooth commissioning and is robust and reliable.

Biostream: A Plug-and-Play System With Pre-Installed, Pre-Calibrated and Pre-Tested Equipment

During the site visit, Alberto Torres, Product Owner – Biogas, offered an in-depth look into the Biostream showing different elements of the system and how they are interrelated. All equipment is included inside the container – equipment for PSA regeneration, gas analyser, mechanical ventilation and gas detection.

Another important feature is the electrical room located in the container as well. It has the control panels, electrical panels, VFDs and all utilities required for normal operation.  Biostream is a very compact system, easy to control and operation. It has low energy consumption, is scalable for higher capacity and is certified by Intertek.
